Generations (1997)
Poster art: Five Smooth Stones
This co-production with S.U.C.C.E.S.S. looked at what happens inside an immigrant family when the parents have brought everyone from somewhere else, but the children are growing up in Canada. What are in inter-generational cultural issues that arise as the children are drawn into the dominant culture? How does the family cope?
"The Generations project represented a redefinition of how community work could be accomplished. The quality was second to none. Feedback has been extremely positive and the impact on staff as well as the community that we serve has been phenomenal! Your work continues to be an inspiration to us."
Angelo Lam, Coordinator, Popular Education and Theatre Program, S.U.C.C.E.S.S.
